Description
Brown hard-sided suitcase with brass corner struts, lock, and clasps. Leather strips bolted to the lid and front possibly used to secure straps. Handle is made from an unknown material, possibly a light-weight wood, possibly compacted paper, and is held on with metal rings. The interior of the case is papered in a patterned blue and white lining. An 8 cm tear in the lid has been patched with a piece of leather sewn on from the inside. A leather name plate has MORANT written in gold under the handle, below the lock.
