- Two pencil sketched scenes arranged vertically on paper. The paper appears to have been folded, as there is a crease between these two scenes. The top scene has a central wheel-helm raised on a platform, like it might be on the bow of a ship. Another figure, possibly a telescope, is to the viewer’s right of the helm.In the bottom scene, various forest/mountain creatures, such as an elk, moose and bear sit in the front row of a classroom. Other less distinct figures sit around them in other seats. A figure with a pointer-stick gestures at the board, which has an image of a human skeleton on it.
