- File consists of 10 photographic prints, (9 mounted and 1 loose, 8 b&w and 2 colour). Content includes multiple Canadian scenic photographs, (ships, winter scenes, landscapes), a gag photo of Nicholas Morant and another unidentified man titled 'Onions', a view of a village, possibly in Peru, depicting a person with a donkey travelling down a dirt road, and a gag photo of Morant wearing glasses and a hat (with caption "The Author (as a young man)" written on the back). Many of the prints in this file were taken early in Nicholas Morant's career (ca. 1936 - 1940), and most are dated and signed by Morant. One attributed to 'Associated Screen News', creator unknown.

- Some of these photographs may have been published and used for professional purposes following their creation. However, the specific copies of the photographs contained within this file were used by Nicholas Morant for personal display, and therefore have been categorized as personal photography. Each print within this file was originally framed, and recently removed due to storage and conservation reasons. Most photographs are annotated on the back with contextual information [dates, locations, names, etc] for photographs, some items include personal messages written to Norman Luxton. Photograph images pertain to a fishing trip in Grande Prairie; men in military uniforms during World War II, including some taken during active duty in England; personal and group portraits; a war monument in Verdun, France; historic ships and boats; scenic views of Mistaya Canyon and Minnewanka; wildlife, including birds and a marten; and family pets.

- Item consists of one 16 mm motion picture pertaining to a miscellaneous collection of clips edited together of avalanche control operations in Glacier National Park, as well as shots of trains going into and coming out of the Connaught Tunnel. Also includes shots of the remnants of a snow shed, men skiing, and [presumably the same] men conducting expirments and taking readings on the snowpack. The original label on the case reads "Title Glacier Park BC Avalanche Control, Date 1959-1960, Camera B. Engler, Footage Color, Note: Leftover from Film Editing." An additional note included in the case [appears to be a photocopy of the orginal] includes: "Snow pit test Noel Gardner, old CP Roundhouse ruin, West entrance of Connought Tunnel, Train in and out of tunnel. Remarks: This is of short cuts taped together, can no be projected mostly short cuts."
