Description
Five pieces of regalia: a yoke, two sleeves, and two bead strips. Each piece has a red and white geometric design on a black background.a) Fully beaded yoke worked on canvas and backed with fabric. Sides open. Arm holes edged with hide strips. Neck opening tied at one side with thong.b,c) Sleeves with same beading pattern as yoke. Each has one long edge slightly arched and the opposite straight.d,e) Bead strips (arm or leg bands?) with similar beading pattern as yoke and cuffs, but opposite colour placement - red outlined white shapes on a black background. Each strip is worked on canvas and backed with white fabric. Two ties at one end and leather tab at opposite end of each strip.
