- Marianne (Thom) Anderson, 1861-1947 was born and educated in England and married in 1883. The family business of drapers and carpet sellers went bankrupt following the Boer War and the family moved to Canada in 1910 with their two sons. Anderson and her husband lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba for a time and following her husband's death in Winnipeg, Anderson moved to Medicine Hat, Alberta in 1929-1930 where one of her son's was living. She remained in Medicine Hat for the rest of her life.

- Fonds consists of photographs and postcards of the Banff area, Bow Falls, Chateau Lake Louise, Jasper Park Lodge, as well as 1 photograph of Heinie, the Russian pony. Four b&w photographs of Bow Falls, Chateau Lake Louise, Jasper Park Lodge and one of Heinie were taken in 1927 by Miros Thom.
