Some letters are marked with a small x in pencil, indicating where Jon Whyte made notes for use in his project "Catharine Robb Whyte, Peter Whyte: Commemorative Portfolio," originally published in 1981. Topics include daily life in Banff, preparing for the season at Skoki, the Rankins sending a ski racing trophy, Peter attending a hockey game in Canmore, daily life in Concord [including honeymooning Russ and Kitty and where they will live in Concord and Boston], lists names of the Boston ski crowd, the death and aftermath [including funeral] of Kit Paley after an avalanche at Skoki, dealings with the lawyer Mr. Bing, returning to Skoki with more guests, Barbara Carpenter White's pregnancy and heading east with her mother [and possibly visiting Edith Morse Robb], and visits with locals and others [including Mr. and Mrs. Jack, Jimmy Boyce, Vic Kutschera, Cyril Paris, Norman Knight, Agnes Hammon, and Aileen Harmon].
