History / Biographical: Marshall Diverty served as president of the Trail Riders of the Canadian Rockies in 1943.

Scope & Content: File consists of one photograph album with images pertaining to Marshall Diverty, his daughter Jane Diverty (MacFarland) and other members of the Trail Riders of the Canadian Rockies participating in trail rides and related events, ca.1940-1945.

Notes: Some individuals have been identified by donor Deborah Vogel (Marshall Diverty's granddaughter and Jane Diverty's daughter). One image possibly depicts Johnny Bearspaw [identification made by Indigenous Research Intern Jacinda Brisson] posing with Marshall and other individuals.
