- Description
- Three Banff Indian Days silver dollars hung from silver neck chain. Coins are attached by means of circular silver frame which clamps around each and is held together with small knob which screws over threaded post at end of frame. Small knobs attached to links in chain by small rings. Chain clasp is small ring with fingernail knob to open and spring closed. Face of each coin has different Indian head in profile, and reads "Banff Canada Kiwanis Dollar" around the edge, signed "C.A. Beil" below shoulder. Obverse of each has tepee against high mountains, and "Indian Days" across top. Below reads, "value one dollar in Banff" and the date (1969,1970, and1971) expiry date noted on each as Sept. 30 of the same year as coin issued.

- A wooden plaque with “Banff Indian Days” burned into the face along with two stylized teepees and the initials “DJS” (Dave Spence). The centre of the plaque features an arc of 10 silver coins, dating from 1969 to 1978, that commemorate Banff Indian Days.
