- History / Biographical
- The Mile-Hi Lodge in Banff was owned and operated by John D. "Jack" Anderson (1917-1964). Anderson purchased the property located at 402 Banff Ave. in 1956 and operated the Mile-Hi Lodge until his death in 1964. The lodge remained in business under Anderson's estate until at least 1969, but was likely closed prior to the property's sale in 1973.

Content pertains to correspondence between Nicholas and Ivy 'Willie' Morant and 'Clara A (?) K H' , correspondence between Nicholas and Ivy 'Willie' Morant, a 1935 Winnipeg Free Press article with an image by Nicholas Morant, a small folder of Nicholas Morant's typed notes recounting an unfinished story, receipts and correspondence ranging from 1957 to 1990 sent by various photography and film companies to Nicholas Morant, and 1982 handwritten letter on back of colour image of 2 trains, titled "The Great Daily Race of the Broadway and Century" (postcard?), sender unknown.
