- Knife with short stainless steel blade thick at back with sharp edge curving to point and deep groove along one side. Straight smoothly shaped wooden handle with two small wedge shaped pieces of ebony at end, round wooden dowel pin through at sides, and band of ivory at blade end abutted against a narrower band of ebony. Cover for blade shaped and designed just like handle so that the two together look like one long smooth piece of wood with ivory band in middle.
