Includes shots of construction crews levelling the ground, machines moving earth, explosives, paving, bridges, men in a lab conduction experiments, and some shots of nearby wildlife and scenic views. NF - 28b is a copy of NF- 28a. Also includes two documents: two copies of a press release for the film, produced by the National Film Board. The original label on the case reads "Title: Construction, Trans Canada Hgw, Camera B. Engler NFB, Date: 1956, Footage: 200 Time 5 minutes."
