- Caving helmet (a) with detachable lamp (b). a) Yellow helmet with a black stripe running across the top. Straps are black. Interior is white, blue and grey foam. “GADD” is written in pen on both sides of the white foam. There are five circular holes in the back of the helmet, and four in the front, all symmetrical and part of the helmet’s design. There is a black and silver bracket on the front of the helmet that allows the lamp to be attached. helmet: 21.0 cm by 26.0 cmb) Red box with a black tube that runs to a small lamp. Thick black strap threads through the back between silver metal pieces of the red box and acts as a way to fasten the box to the person wearing it. Strap has a plastic buckle system. Red box reads “Speleo Technics FX2 pat.app.N0 8226048 Longridge Preston England”red box: 8.0 cm wide by 15 cm high by 4.0 cm deeplamp: 6.5 cm diameter, 7.5 cm wide.strap 107.0 cm long, 4.5 cm wide.
