Description
A large triangular pennant shaped piece of beaded canvas with buckskin tie at each corner, and short buckskin fringe at truncated point. Backed with buckskin cut to shape with notched edge, medium blue background with three triangular motifs in a vertical row, each having a red cross hanging from its point. Top two triangles are white with red squares outlining, and yellow centres at the red crosses. The bottom triangle has a yellow band at the top, a blue band beneath and a white square beneath that, all outlined with red squares and a white centre in the red cross hanging from it. White band borders sides and bottom with a red diagonal stripe at the middle. Canvas band at outside edges were once covered with red wool blanket cloth which shows here and there in patches.
