A piece of buckskin is looped through the ring on top of the medal so it can be worn around the neck. (b) a maroon fibre drawstring bag with a tag attached in Catharine Whyte’s writing “Johnny Bearspaw - medal - July 1977 brought it back”

A tea set consisting of a sugarbowl (a), six saucers (g-l), and five cups (b-f). Each piece of the set is white inside and light yellow outside with a pattern of small gold leaves and blue flowers covering the exterior. The edges are emphasised with narrow gold lines. Each piece is marked with a maker’s mark.a) The sugar bowl is a rounded twelve sided bowl with two loop handles that are bent up. The bowl has a twelve sided flat lid with a pointed gold knob. b-f) Each of the six cups are rounded with twelve sides. The cups have flared lips, small bases and squared handles. g-l) The round saucers have twelve grooves to match the facets in sides of the cups.
