Description
White rounded mug with gold outline on the rim and handle. The front image is of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth (queen mother). Their faces sit at the centre of a crest with several flags, one being the flag of the Uk and another the flag of the US. At the top of the crest is a red and gold crown and at the bottom, going across the crest, is a banner with the words “Long may they reign.” On the right side of the crest is the White House house and on the left side the Parliament Building in Ottawa. At the back of the mug, at the centre of an arrangement of maple leaves it reads: “ To commemorate the visit of their majesties King George VI and Queen Elizabeth to Canada and the United States of America May 1939.”
