- A paper songbook of "The Gems of the Christy Minstrels". Plain, yellowed, paper cover has "Mrs. Dave White's ?" handwritten in pencil on front. Inside contains 96 pages of minstrel songs with the simple tunes musically noted, and lyrics written out in Negro dialect. Written in pencil on the inside front cover is a list of songs and their corresponding page numbers, with other pencilled notations throughout the booklet pages stapled together at folded edge with two large, rusting, metal staples. Covering page attached with two long string stitches through this spine.
