Description
A left-handed glove of soft white leather constructed with the fingers in a curled position. The gauntlet is trimmed with brown leather at the opening and padded with vertical wooden battens on the underside to protect the wrist. The palm and underside of the fingers and thumb are heavily padded. A small openwork crocheted blue and orange medallion on the palm and a similar diamond shaped medallion on the top of the hand allow circulation of air. There are two stitched welts and decorative structural stitching around thumb and gauntlet. Small holes have been left between the fingers for air circulation.
