They never learned to listen to the Indians so I don't suppose they'll listen to other voices in nature. But I have learned a lot from trees: sometimes about the weather, sometimes about animals, sometimes about the Great Spirit. I have spoken" Tatanga Man "Walking Buffalo". The foreground, which covers two thirds of picture is rolling benchlands down to a river shown at middle right, many bison are seen in the distance in valley bottom and on the hills. Mountains on horizon to the right. The sky is blue with tinges of white and green. A plaque is attached to the frame: To Chief Walking Buffalo who has bravely fought to bring the right spirit to the people of Canada and the world from his friends commemorating his 91st birthday March 20, 1962.
