- A landscape of mountains, sky and a river. The foreground is dominated by brown and grey rocks and by white and turquoise frothing, raging water. The upper half of the painting are dark green pine trees with mauve and white mountains beyond. Mid- to-top is blue sky with one long white cloud.

- Colour: green, purple, red, yellow. The lower canvas is a town. Beyond that is a pale green river which goes across, upright and then left a bit. On either side as it goes into the distance are green hills becoming purple in the distance. A grey yellow sky fills the upper area.
