Description: A watercolour painting of a winter mountain landscape. A snowy mountain dominates the painting. The background is a dark grey-blue sky. There is a white, snow-covered mountain peak and in front of it is a grey mountain scattered with trees. In the foreground is thick black-grey forest. At the bottom, right of centre, is the title and year of the painting written in pencil, “Mts in winter 3. 2010” and in the bottom rhc is the artist signature. Au verso, at the bottom in the centre there is writing in pencil, “Takao Tanabe 2010. Mts in winter 3. 2010 w.c. 31” x 23” ”.
