History / Biographical
Morris D. Parry, 1893-1978, was a member of the Alpine Club of Canada - Edmonton Section. Born in Llanfairfechan, Wales in 1893, he came to Canada at the age of 19, and to Edmonton in 1912. He worked first as a banker and later in the investment department at H. M. E. Evans and Co. During the war years, Parry was on loan to the National War Finance Committee for the northern half of Alberta.

W. R. (Russ) Bradley, of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, skied, climbed and photographed in the Canadian Rockies. He wrote and published "Snowcraft and Ski Mountaineering for Amateurs". The seventh edition was published in cooperation with the Canadian Ski Patrol System in 1970.
