Records include 4 notebooks containing information about expenses, sent/received gifts to family and friends, and a notebook recording Dorothy's mileage; and 11 calendar notebooks, or "planning diaries," in which Dorothy recorded detailed information regarding her daily life, appointments, events, etc.

Notes: One notebook is monogrammed JMW, for James Morey Wardle (Dorothy's father). This notebook also includes some loose receipts and paper tucked inside.; One notebook is monogrammed DHW, for Dorothy Hope Wardle.
