Description
Decorative plates with six varying hunting scenes in centre and a looped scroll decoration in ivory and gold lustre around rim. Basic brown colouring and outlines probably applied by decal and other colours hand applied. "Wedgewood - Etruia, England" inked on bottom of all plates, also stamped "Wedgewood - Made in England...7U29". Plate (a) is called "1st September" and has a 4 painted on bottom. Plate (b) is called "Master of the Hounds" and bottom had a 4. Plate (c) is called "Full Cry" and has a 4 on bottom. Plate (d) is called "The Laggard" and has a 4 on bottom. Plate (e) is called "The Kill" and doesn't have a 4 on bottom. Plate (f) is called "1st October" and has a 4 on the bottom. All plates except (a) have number sequence "2M534?" written on bottom.
