- Needlepoint sampler by Lucy Ann Andrew, aged 11 years, 1873. Mounted in a shadowbox with wooden frame and plexiglass front. The sampler is done in cross-stitch, multi-coloured (brown, dark grey, light grey and blue) on a loosely woven ecru linen. It depicts an alphabetical display of double upper and single lowercase needlepoint work including “Lucy Ann Andrew, her sampler, aged 11 years, August 6, 1873”, located in bottom one-third portion of sampler. There is a stitched hem around three-quarters of what would have been unfinished weft and warp.

- A needlepoint sampler, in many colours, done in cross-stitch on a loosely woven ecru linen. The sampler has a narrow double-stitched border with a floral band at the top followed by rows of letters of the alphabet separated by horizontal bars. Most of the letters are worked twice together through the alphabet repeating from A to D at the end, followed by another floral band as at the top, and then “Susanah Lehman November the 3 1796.” The sampler was originally framed in a simple brown wood frame with parallel line texture (wood grain?) and has a framer’s sticker on the back “The Royal Art Gallery” (Calgary, Alberta).

The alphabet is stitched with each letter worked twice, followed by the alphabet with each letter worked once until “P” at the end of the sampler where “Susana Lhaman” (sic) is stitched. - Japanese, large articulated changing doll, woman, fully clothed. Face, feet and hands made of plaster, body and legs of plastered wood, articulated at neck, elbows, hips, knees and ankles. Elbows to shoulders cloth covered wire for easy movements. Inset, open grey eyes, red lips open slightly to show white teeth. Fancy hairdo with one blue and one red tie dyed scarf, hair inset into head. Silver ornament stuck into hairdo at front. A paper band is glued around her waist with Japanese writing: "Dollmaker - Eitoku-sai of Kyoto; Tokyo, Nihon-Bashi-Doli 10 store shops. Doll has sewn red silk long-sleeved underwear.
