Filmed at Bow Lake and at the Peyto Lake Lookout, the plot follows an outlaw trapper who steals a snowmobile from outside a North West Mounted Police outpost, prompting a Marx Brothers-style chase wherein the Mountie attempts to apprehend the outlaw on snowshoes, skis, horse, truck, and snowmobile, which he eventually does.

Content includes photographs of Vancouver Island, British Columbia including unidentified sailors, Indigenous people, buildings, lighthouses [Cape Beale], canoes, ships, boats, landscapes, and shorelines. Some prints are annotated by Norman Luxton, identifying individuals as being Nootka [Nuu-chah-nulth], some taken in Port Alberni. File contains photographs of human skulls and potentially residential schools - access is restricted to select photographs. Content includes Tilikum voyage to Pacific Islands, with possible locations depicted including Cook Islands, Manihiki and Penhryn, Somoa, Fiji, and Tahiti. A teenage girl works to save a group of wild horses from hunters by herding them through badlands and mountains to refuge on Federal land. Location filming for mountain scenes in southwestern Alberta, mostly around Pincher Creek and the Crowsnest Pass, and Badlands and desert scenes filmed in Dinosaur Provincial Park and Nevada.
