History / Biographical: The Mile-Hi Lodge in Banff was owned and operated by John D. "Jack" Anderson (1917-1964). Anderson purchased the property located at 402 Banff Ave. in 1956 and operated the Mile-Hi Lodge until his death in 1964. The lodge remained in business under Anderson's estate until at least 1969, but was likely closed prior to the property's sale in 1973.

Scope & Content: File consists of 38 commercial souvenir postcards pertaining to areas in Canada and Panama. Presumably the book was originally intended for use by the Calgary Herald between 1890 and 1899, but was later repurposed for the Crag and Canyon.
