Large brown moose at centre walking by aqua stream with evergreen trees and bushes behind in various shades of green, underneath a deep blue sky with white clouds scattered about. 4.5 cm wide brown border frames scene, edges finished with binding of dark green yarn, and 6.0 cm fringe at each end. Tops overhang slightly and bevelled along edges. Scroll-cut apron at bottom attached to front of cases has two decorative round wooden button/pegs giving the appearance of attaching apron to case. Backed with 1/4" plywood, stained inside shelves to match finish of maple (d) slightly different in design cut into apron, and top of apron is not bevelled like (a-c).

The four hooves have been split behind the shaft and the fetlocks have been drawn to one side, so that the cylinder is completely covered. The compartment is leather lined and edged. Sitting on and in the box is the varnished wood lid which has a handle made of deer antler, also varnished. inside is a letter that reads “Hello Everybody, Just a little present., From Bill. And my partner Harold King. - B. Lagarde” along with two pieces of bone; a crystal; and a perfectly round stone.
