Description
An oil painting portrait of a woman. The painting is dominated by by a woman sitting near water, looking down. The woman is wearing blue shorts and a red shirt with a red scarf around her head. The background is primarily yellow, blue and green with visible thick, short brush strokes. The artist signature is written in black ink in the brhc. Au verso, written in blue ink in the top rhc, “PROPERTY OF LOU DE GRANDMAISON”. In the top rhc on the wooden frame in black ink, “#113”. In the centre on the left side of the wooden frame is a purple ink stamp. The first two lines of text are illegible and under them is, “25”. The same stamp, however even less legible, is also on the right side of the frame in the centre.
