Date: 1962 Interviewed by:Newburys Speed: 3 ¾ “Newbury, From Concord, Mass. 1962” Side A: Merry Christmas from Concord: Bill is mentioned, Sam, Dave, Nancy (the four children), several others; sang carols on Christmas eve, hung stockings “one of the most unique presents” – Dave gave everyone self-addressed stamped envelopes to write him letters; remembers Russell enjoying toys at Christmas; Christmas dinner at the Roddys. Side B: Continuation o letter: Plan to go up to “the cabin” (Frances, Gil and Gibbs Roddy); look forward to skiing at Canon (sp?) Mountain; saw Rusty and Judy at Morgan Smiths; talks of Catharine’s mother’s estate, Aunt Julie’s death.
