- This painting shows a close up view of a wolf running along side of a bison. The wolf is attacking the cow. Both the bison and the wolf are running to the left side of the painting from the right. In the upper right corner there are two more bison running in the same direction. The ground looks as if it is covered with snow and the snow has a blue colour in the shadow areas. The bison and the wolf are brown in colour.
