Scope & Content
Fonds consists of correspondence files titled "Christian Haesler," 1939, "Conrad Kain," 1934-1935, 1962-1964, and "Jasper Park 1929-1930." Material pertains to Hasler's climbing activities, grizzly bear mauling and resulting support for Hasler from U.S. climbing community; J. Monroe Thorington's biography of Kain and recollections of same; and arrangements between Kingman and J. A. Weiss concerning winter ski expedition, Jasper.
