Has “Sketches” printed in dark red script on the front cover and a 5 cm long fabric loop attached to the bottom edge of the back cover, most likely to hold a pencil. There is a coloured sticker of the Chateau Frontenac, Quebec on the inside of the front cover and a hand-written note about the sketchbook’s contents written by Pete on the first page. It contains several black and white sketches of bands/musicians, tourists and tourism-related topics focussed primarily on Lake Louise, cowboys, camps, climbing, and graphite sketches of figures.

On the front cover, viewer’s left, there is a glued piece of off-white paper 10.4x2.0cm wide, and on the back inside cover, viewer’s left there is a chop mark (1.0x0.50cm wide) in ochre ink.
