History / Biographical: William J. (Bill) Ross, 1914-1992, lived at Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He was a long-time friend of Jim and Dorothy Boyce and was associated with George Browne through mutual membership in the Calgary Fish and Game Association. Ross took up historical research and writing after his retirement.
