- Ethel Unwin, 1907-1970, was a business woman, guide and outfitter at Banff, Alberta and Glacier, B.C. Unwin worked at Glacier House and Banff in the gift shop and accommodation business. She was the first woman granted a trail guide's license and guided parties briefly during the First World War, maintaining an outfit owned by her brother, Sid Unwin. Between 1922 and 1947 she owned the Odd Craft Shop in Banff.
