A pair of empty Royal Dry Plate boxes, used for storing lantern slides. a) A Royal Dry Plate box with a label on the lid. Along the edge of the lid is a red border, in a dark brown square white text reads “ROYAL” “COMPLETE DIRECTIONS INSIDE PACKAGE” “FOR SALE BY ALL DEALERS IN PHOTOGRAPHIC GOODS”, an illustration of a take on the Royal Crest is in the middle of the label, and “Dry Plate MANUFACTURED BY CANADIAN KODAK CO. LIMITED TORONTO. CANADA”. Along one of the edges of the lid is a sticker that reads in handwriting “Lantern Slides”, the opposite edge has another label that is black with red text. The red text reads “1 Dozen 3 1/4 x 4 1/4” “ROYAL PLATE Special Extra Rapid” and “Emulsion Number”. The bottom of the box is lined with tape, along the edges. b) A similar Royal Dry Plate box with different colouring. The top of the lid features a label sticker(?) the background is a bluish-grey with a brown square with the text that reads “ROYAL” “COMPLETE DIRECTIONS INSIDE PACKAGE” “FOR SALE BY ALL DEALERS IN PHOTOGRAPHIC GOODS”, an illustration of a take on the Royal Crest is in the middle of the label, and “Dry Plate MANUFACTURED BY CANADIAN KODAK CO. LIMITED TORONTO. CANADA”. Underneath the label is more text that reads “The plates in this package have been made with great care and while they will be replaced if found to be defective in manufacture, they are sold without warranty of any kind, expressed or implied.” One side of the edge of the lid has a black label with red text. The red text reads “1 Dozen 3 1/4 x 4 1/4” “ROYAL PLATE Special Extra Rapid” and “Emulsion Number”. The bottom of the box is lined with tape, along the edges. There is some handwriting along the box but it is illegible. 2.8 x 11.7 x 9.1 cm.

Lantern slide projector (Delineascope) (a) with metal case (b, c) and accessories, black matte finish metal body, fabric bellows, chrome lens casing with manufacturer's stamp, front part of lens detachable, lens cap lined with velvet. 2 chrome finished rods in tube connected to body extended to lens mounting plate, carrying handle top of slide carrier. Wooden slide carriage with 9.1x8.7 openings (2) knob for opening body casing. A bubble-like back lining up with concave mirror inside 500 watt bulb. Compartment for holding the convex lenses (1 biconvex, other planoconvex) manufacturer's label on a hinged door with latch. Entire body attached with pivoting rod to base, wingnut holds in place. Spare bulb (h) in box (g) marked "Edison Mazda Lamp" lens cleaning tissue (f). 4 pieces wood 9.0x1.0 bound with masking tape, metal bracket wrapped in tissue paper (all together i). Electrical cord (d) with switch midway, detaches from male connector under at back side of body. Rectangular metal carrying case held closed with canvas strap.
