Description
A landscape oil painting of Mount Eisenhower. A mountain, that is positioned to the left on the canvas, dominates the painting. The sky in the background has heavy dark grey clouds and a mountain range can be seen at right. In front of Mount Eisenhower are green hills and in the foreground a dark shadow runs across the bottom of the painting. The artists signature is painted in white in the bottom rhc, “Rayner”. The colour palette consists primarily of dark grey, green and blue and the brush strokes and loose and visible. Au verso, right of centre at the top written in black marker is, “ MT. EISEHAUR (sic) ELONGATED 1950-BANFF”.
