Description
A commercial print glued to a card; it has dominant colours of green, yellow, grey, and blue. In the foreground is the low green vegetation and the grey/blue rocks on the trail to Assiniboine from the Sunshine area. Two people on horseback are on the viewer’s right; they are almost at the top of a pass. The pass is lower than the hills on either side of it. There is a line of green coniferous trees growing on both sides. Blue mountains are beyond, and above those, a blue/grey sky. On the white border lhc written in longhand is, “High Country, Canada” and on the rhc it is signed in longhand “Middleton”.

General colours are grey, blue, green, mauve, white and tan. A silkscreen of a view of the Bow River in front of Castle Mountain (Mt. Eisenhower). The foreground shore is two shades of tan, the water from the Bow is turquoise blue; there is a small island of snow with coniferous trees on it. To the viewer’s left are dark coniferous trees and also to the right. The top-half of the silkscreen print mid-centre to the viewer’s left is Castle Mountain, mauve, green, tan and grey and hills of turquoise blue, mauve and grey to the viewer’s right.

A mountain landscape silkscreen print.
