- Paul Anthony Wilson Wallace, 1891-1967, grew up in Toronto and travelled extensively. While a young man, Wallace was active in mountain climbing and in the Alpine Club of Canada. A Professor of English, he taught at the University of Alberta until 1922, then in the United States until 1967.
