Series consists of sound recordings arising from Jon Whyte's personal, literary, broadcasting, and historical activities. Includes seven sub-series:

Poetry, n.d., 1977-1986, n.d., 11 reels; practice, broadcast and off-air recordings of Jon Whyte reading his own short and long works, including Paley (incomplete), The Fells of Brightness, Minisniwapta and Ike Mills Finishing School. Some of the off-air items are from CBC's Alberta Anthology. (S28/1- 11)
B. Broadcasts, n.d., 1972-1980s?, 8 reels; work tape interviews with writers at the Conference of Canadian Writers and Critics, Banff, ca.1974, including Desmond Pacey, Sylvia Fraser and Irving Layton, accompanied by commentary by Jon Whyte; review of Edmonton Access Catalog, 1974, with transcript; Art in the Canadian Rockies, commentary by Jon Whyte, 1980s.
