- Charles William "Bill" Stenton (September 24, 1914 - October 23, 1987) was born and raised in Banff. Bill later married Maria Anne Fernuik (September 10, 1915 - July 21, 2002), who in 1952 began collecting curios in the couple's home. The following year, Bill and Maria opened their first business in Banff, called BJ Novelty; the couple later opened another Banff business, BJ's Fabrics. Bill and Maria are both buried in the Banff Town Cemetery.

Two photographs are in envelopes, the rest are in folder-style portfolios. Named individuals include "Bill" [possibly Bill Craig, 1902 - 2002], Dorothy Edwards, Albert Staples, and Forest Kidney.
