Scope & Content: File consists of 25 photographs [most loose, some with matboards/backings, one in book-style folder]. Content pertains mostly to natural landscapes, plants, wildlife, mountain scenes, etc. in the Canadian Rockies. Other photographs pertain to 1912 Banff Midgets hockey team, RCMP officers, Jack Kidney and friends [ca. 1935], Freddie Hare visiting Forest Kidney at Mineral Springs Hospital in 1978, an ice sculpture by Charlie Beil outside of the Mount Royal Hotel, an early elementary school class photograph [ca. 1900?], and Fred Woodworth's World War I memorial in Ypres.

Notes: File contains duplicates; Photographs in this file were accompanied by notes made shortly before or after accession in 1979 giving names/contextual information about photographs. Some notes are by Jim Deegan, 1987. Information has been transferred to the back of each photograph.
