Description
A handmade heavy leather sheath cut from a larger article of leather. The leather has been folded and riveted together in the shape of an ax head with a a hole at the bottom for the handle and a flap at the top. The sheath has a strap and a buckle riveted to the flap that wraps around the sheath when fastened. The sheath is decorated with a tooled design. Stiching from the original article can be seen along the back edge by two holes (for a carrying strap) and along the edge of the flap.
