- A ten sided teapot, with a sagging belly, which sits on a square four legged base. The pot has a curved spout extending from the bottom of the belly and a large handle attached opposite the spout. The teapot has a high domed lid with a looped cup-handle. The teapot is decorated with a thin line around the teapot at its 'waist' joined at the side with a three blossomed flower. Small brush strokes in groups of three border the mouth of the pot, and similar strokes decorate the spout, base, and lid.

Each column is flanked on each end by what appears to be an interpretation of the Corinthian capital. A rosette in square motif on each corner. The back is covered in brown paper. Dealer's label on back reads "FOSTER BROTHERS 4 Park Square, Boston / Pictures and Frames / order no. 2053. Two heavy metal hooks hold copper hanging wire.
