Enamel of very dark blue where concentrated, becoming a lighter blue green over the high spots of the uneven surface of the metal beneath, champleve, forming a vague herringbone pattern. Copper fittings brazed to back of copper plate. (a,b) cufflinks, wing back clasp hinged between ends of long U-shape bar, swivels perpendicular to insert through buttonhole and parallel to secure. Patent number on back of wingback clasp. (c) tie clip, fitting is flat along back of clip with arm that bends at sharp angle to hold a very tight spring clip behind tie clip, pressing end of spring clip opens jaw of clasp.

- A medium sized, soft sided, blue vinyl suitcase with brass coloured zipper around three sides. Boxy shape is enforced by metal frame around edges and the perimeter, hard plastic handle trimmed with brass coloured metal held by metal plate at top. Opening zips around three sides, with special locking clasp on pull tab of zipper which slips into bracket, Hinomoto No.90 in vinyl tab at base of suitcase. Full length zipper across front of bag opens large pocket. Four metal button feet on bottom. Inside, lined with grey blue fabric, has large slit pocket trimmed with vinyl in lid, two vinyl straps to fasten around clothes, and a stiffened piece of cloth covered plastic riveted to the back frame which becomes the base when the suitcase is carried. Two white squares of stiff plastic attached at corners for extra firmness of case.

Different colours in bold shapes are separated by wire like lines of aluminum, with a thicker aluminum shape enclosing a blue circle on one side, and a thicker aluminum line framing the pendant. Small ring of aluminum at top holds long, delicate, twisted, sterling silver chain with simple ring latch at ends. Back of pendant has recessed stipple texture inside narrow frame of smooth aluminum.
