- Hand thrown, trimmed footed, urn shaped, lidded vessel. Dominant blue enamel, ground with cloisonne and multi-coloured enamel design of garden and four butterflies. Green black yellow border decoration at base and scrolled yellow border at rim. Domed lid which has previously been mended with two staples. Lid decoration geometric flower, and lid sits over jar rim. Calligraphy on jar base and calligraphy label inside lid. The lid would have been repaired after all firing was completed and label affixed at same time.

- A small deep round basket bowl of coiled construction closing in slightly at mouth. Coiled twigs are wrapped with a split fibre each stitch of which is sewn into the next coil. Natural light coloured background with reddish double triangles spaced around in two rows forming a diagonal pattern with a chequered brown and black bar beneath each triangle. A row of single similar triangles beneath complete the diagonal pattern. Base has four small reddish triangles radiating from the centre of the coil, pattern carried through to inside of basket. Note: 4.0 cm piece of top coil broken off and wrapping fraying in places.

Natural brown cedar bark stitching over coils with double rows of imbrication every fourth and fifth coil of black, red brown and light coloured alternating bands. Small black and white imbricated up side down triangle in centre below imbricated bands at bottom on each side. Suspended by four pieces at twisted cotton ? twine knotted through stitching at each corner, approx. 18 cm. and knotted together at top. Note: bark wrapping top broken in seven places.
