- A charcoal-coloured, metal, oblong medal with an embossed rope around the rim, a ram’s head on top, an enamel, green, grey and white shield in the middle with two crossed ice axes behind, a coiled rope under that, and raised lettering “THE ALPINE CLUB OF CANADA” arced around the bottom.

Mounted on oak base 57.0 x 46.5 c 6.0, glass walls 11.2 x .5 thick. 16.5 long brass rods through corners of glass go through base to tighten withwing nuts.
