Silver coloured rope over bottom copper plate 9.0 x21.5, centered on this plate a wreath 6.0 x 6.3 with "SIC ITVR AD ASTRA"inside. Mounted on oak base 57.0 x 46.5 c 6.0, glass walls 11.2 x .5 thick. 16.5 long brass rods through corners of glass go through base to tighten withwing nuts.

A metal piton with two pins glued on, the top the gold-coloured embossed Chateau Lake Louise Hotel, printed underneath “CHATEAU LAKE LOUISE”; the bottom is a copper-coloured ACC pin with its logo: an embossed rope around the rim, a ram’s head on top, an enamel, green, grey and white shield in the middle with two crossed ice axes behind, a coiled rope under that, and raised lettering “THE ALPINE CLUB OF CANADA” arced around the bottom.
