Wooden frame with painted plaster decoration, arch has Alpine Club logo and "SIC ITUR AD ASTRA", elaborate, curlicue border 10.5 wide frames inscription, gold lettering on blue: "To the memory of the members of the AC of C who died on active service, 1914-1918.
