- Straw broom with "Happy Birthday Skip 1949" on handle. Long, corn bristles attached to sturdy wooden handle at neck with wire. Five rows of faded red stitching hold bristles flat and in place. Base of broom worn on diagonal with the bristles curling off to one side. Wide colourful paper label with a metal band of maple leaves around the top indicates that it is a Keystone brand, Monarch curling broom, made in Canada. Written in ballpoint pen under the word 'Skip' is "Mrs. Dave White"
