Brown pressed paper box with hinged lid, leather handle,and metal hinges and closures. A label on top of the case reads “Chicago Academy of Fine Arts” and has Edmee Moore’s Chicago address handwritten in pencil.The case contains: a cardboard box of poster paint jars, five other paint jars, two paint trays, two single paint bowls, nine paint brushes, two protractors, three fine pens, a card of lettering nibs, a box of pins and nibs, five metal adjustable holders, three pencil erasers, four pencils, one stick, one palette knife, two erasers, one sandpaper stick, one metal tool in a case, one wooden hinged tool, one complete drafting tool set, one set of lesson cards, one paint rag, and numerous pieces of charcoal.

Slate grey/blue/green film/movie projector with original instruction manual.a) Film/Movie projector built into its own case. There is a small rectangular button at the top, underneath the handle, that opens the case when pushed sideways. This removed the lid, which contains the reel. The reel can be removed and put onto the base unit, threaded with film, to project movies. Inside there is a cord and metal plate. There is text identifying the model number and company. This unit is a Model S-500A.b) Small paper instruction booklet. Front reads “argus Showmaster movie projectors” with a drawing of a projector against a dark yellow and cream background. Back reads “Your Argus Showmaster Movie Projector was manu- factured, inspected, and tested by skilled craftsmen. It is guaranteed to be free of defects in workmanship or material during its lifetime. If any servicing be- comes necessary because of imperfections in materials or workmanship, your projector will be factory seru- iced without charge. Argus equipment which has been damaged, mishan- dled, or worn from extensive use will be factory serviced at established rates. Two fragments of glazed earthenware tiles, (a) an end piece with one original border which reveals the original shape of the tile to be arabesque-like, the upper right side curves inward in an arc shape, the outer edge is coloured in an aqua-marine blue with a thin rust-orange border on front side, surface has white ground with deep cobalt blue flowers and delicate stems, green leaves and two rust-orange flowers, the same rust colour is applied as contrast to leaves and blue flowers, the colours have run slightly under the glaze ( b) is a corner fragment, too small to distinguish design; colours used are blue green and a dull gold on a white ground, designs are raised and outlined in unglazed clay.
